During my recent stay at A'Bant, situated conveniently between Shizuoka Station and Shin Shizuoka, I found a blend of practicality and modest luxury. The location is perfect for exploring, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The surrounding area was surprisingly peaceful at night, allowing for a restful sleep with the window open. The room was reasonably spacious by Japanese standards, featuring air conditioning that worked excellently in the summer heat. Although I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, it was rather basic – a tray of various items including natto and miso soup, but not enough variety to warrant an additional charge. The staff were helpful and the facilities, including luggage storage and free toiletries, catered to my needs. If you’re looking for a balanced option without overspending, A'Bant might be a prudent choice. While it may lack extravagant amenities, the overall value is decent for the location and services provided.
